Sports Injury Clinic
Multidisciplinary Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury Clinic
How they work
The Sports Injury Clinic provides a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) approach to optimise health, well-being, and human performance. During the consultation, the team will work with you by carrying out a thorough review of the problem to date. This will include reviewing previous imaging and management regimes, if necessary. They will also perform a full clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound if required, preferably all in the same appointment. Following the assessment, the team will have a detailed discussion with you about your condition and the imaging results. They will then recommend the most appropriate treatment or next steps, helping you to start your recovery immediately. This may include further imaging or injection treatments alongside a bespoke rehabilitation programme.

Is the Sports Injury Clinic right for me?
The Sports Injury Clinic is appropriate for complex cases, typically injuries that the athlete has been struggling to recover from or the injury is recurring.
If in doubt, please speak to one of our team who will advise the best route for your recovery.
